According to reports, the U.S. Arm will soon be switching from Android to iPhone. Previously, the Army gave soldiers an Android Tactical Assault Kit, equipped with what was believed to be a Samsung Galaxy Note for it's multitasking capabilities. However, now the new kit will feature the iPhone 6s. Sources stated that the Android device struggled with custom, split-screen military software and had to be restarted often. If the Army used the original 2010 Galaxy Note then the switch makes perfect sense, the iPhone 6s is certainly the better choice.
