Elon Musk now has four new ambitious goals for Tesla to disrupt the entire auto industry. These goals include combining Tesla with SolarCity, building both a pickup truck and mini-bus, advancing autonomous-driving capabilities to be 10 times safer than human drivers and to create a ride-sharing business built around autonomous technology. Musk states that the idea is for Tesla owners to tap a button to "generate income" while you aren't using your self-driving car by loaning it to other people for rides. He also stated that he can see all this happening in the next 5 to 6 years.
