In 2014 Samsung launched an alternative to ad-supported music services like Pandora or Spotify. However recently, Samsung released a statement saying that their Milk Music is being shutdown September 22nd. This is likely due to Milk Music not gaining much traction with users. Samsung will direct users to Slacker, which is an ad-supported music streaming service that powered Milk Music.
