According to reports, Apple’s component costs for their new iPhone 7 have risen compared to the previous phone. This is due to newer components and technologies like the Taptic Engine, better cameras and storage increases. This means customers are technically getting more bang for their buck when they upgrade. Despite reports of a few iPhones having hissing sounds, Apple appears to have pulled off another successful iPhone launch with many locations sold out.
