Airline, subway and bus commuters are now being told to turn off their Galaxy Note 7s after more than 70 reports of batteries overheating in the US. Samsung plans to release an over-the-air update for the Note 7 that will help the device not overheat. The update will start September 20th in South Korea and make its way to other countries. The temporary fix works by capping battery charging at 60%. Software update or not, Samsung is still recalling the Galaxy Note 7.
