A Samsung Display researcher has stated that the company may introduce a “full-screen display with an area ratio reaching more than 90% next year.” This would mean a phone with very little bezel. The average phone sits around 80% ratio, featuring a good amount of top and bottom bezel for various sensors and cameras. Samsung is expected to unveil its newest devices in February. This will be a big deal in terms of public adoption, considering how the Galaxy Note 7, met an unfortunate end.
