The CEO of Huawei's consumer business group, says he wants the Chinese company to overtake Apple as the second biggest smartphone manufacturer within the next two years. Huawei currently has 9.3% market share, Apple has 12.5% and Samsung sits atop with 20%. Huawei just unveiled a new smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9 alongside some rave first impressions. With Samsung canceling the Note 7 and a soft response to Apple’s new iPhone, Huawei is in position to take advantage of it's competitor’s shortcomings.
