A team of scientists from the University of Central Florida have created a new technology that would allow your smartphone to completely charge in only a few seconds and keep a charge for "at least a week." The battery can also be recharged more than 30,000 times without degrading. This can be applied to smartphones, smartwatches and even improve the range of electric vehicles. The technology is not ready for commercialization yet but it gives us hope that the hassle of charging our phones daily is closely coming to an end.
