Instagram is making a big e-commerce push with new tools for businesses. It unveiled some new features to make it easier for businesses to analyze and run ad campaigns through its mobile app. These "Business Profiles” will also allow potential customers to talk directly to companies via the app. The new tools roll out in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand in the coming months and will be available worldwide by the end of 2016.

Tesla hasn't yet to officially opened its massive Nevada battery plant but that'll change on July 29th, when some will for a ceremony at the facility. The plant is expected to produce 35 gigawatt-hours of battery capacity per year, which is more than the entire world's lithium ion battery production in 2013. This Gigafactory is seen as a key element to affordable mass production of the $35,000 all-electric Tesla Model 3.

Google just won a major court battle with software giant Oracle over Google’s use of components of Oracle’s Java programming language. If Google had lost, it could have held major ramifications for the ways in which nearly all software is developed. For now, programmers and the people who use their creations can rest easy. India launched its first reusable space shuttle today. Early reports predicted the shuttle wasn’t expected to survive the landing. However, scientists managed to guide the craft into a soft descent into the Bay of Bengal intact. At 22 feet, India reusable shuttle is little, and its $14 million price tag is similarly minuscule. Yet there’s nothing small about the launch itself. It’s a huge milestone for India and for the growth of reusable spacecraft worldwide.

A company has created autonomous delivery robots which successfully carried pizza from a local pizzeria in Tallinn, Estonia Starship Technologies' robots can carry items within a three-mile radius and claims they’ll get to a consumer’s front door in less than 30 minutes. The company says the full-consumer launch will be in the U.S. by 2017.

Today Google announced two new applications at their annual developer conference. Allo is a "smart text messaging" app that Google's new digital assistance software. Duo is a video calling app that gives you a view of who's calling before you pick up. Unfortunately, we have to wait to download both of these apps. An individual reported a parked SUV camouflaged as Google Street viewer vehicle. Soon enough, the Philadelphia state police confirmed the SUV belonged to its fleet with two license plate readers onboard. Department authorities have denied any approval in adorning the vehicle with a Google Maps decal. Its likely the SUV was collecting data for some sort of investigation. Although an internal investigation is still on going.
