LG is offering either a $425 cash settlement or a $700 rebate towards the purchase of a new LG device. You’ll need a proof of purchase and fill out a Proof of Claim survey by February 12, 2018. Congratulations, LG owners, you did it!

Elon Musk recently teased a flamethrower that his Boring Company could start selling. Well, it’s real – and you can pre-order one now for $500. Marketed as the “world’s safest flamethrower, guaranteed to liven up any party." Musk’s Boring Company is a company focused on digging tunnels but it appears it'll also be selling odd stuff including flamethrowers, fire extinguishers and hats. What do you guys think? Would you buy a flamethrower?

Reports suggests Apple will discontinue the original iPhone X when the second-generation is released later this year, instead of making the phone cheaper. The report cites predictions from analysts, who said that lower prices for the iPhone X would affect sales of Apple's current and future devices. If true, it would be the first time Apple has canceled an iPhone after just one generation since the iPhone 5C in 2014.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has stated that the company will start talking with U.S. carriers this year about selling its devices. The majority of consumers in the U.S. still buy their phones from their carriers and making a deal with one or more of them will give OnePlus access to millions of potential new customers. The CEO went on to say that OnePlus is also planning to launch it's next phone around June of this year.

Samsung confirms that the company will unveil it's Galaxy S9 at Mobile World Congress in February. This confirmation matches recent reports suggesting a February 26 announcement with a March launch. Samsung doesn't normally announce major smartphones at big trades shows, then again the Galaxy S9 is likely only a minor improvement over the S8.

Nintendo has announced that the Switch is the fastest-selling home video game console in US history, with nearly 5 million sold in 8 months. Funny though, much of it's appeal lies in the ability to "switch" from being a TV-connected console to a portable gaming device in a matter of seconds. Nevertheless, it's an impressive feat for a console that doesn't have the most spectacular specs compared to others.

Emporio Armani Connected Touchscreen Smartwatch ART5002 Review

If style is everything, Emporio Armani’s Connected is thee smartwatch of choice.

After releasing a collection of hybrids a couple of years ago, Emporio Armani isn’t completely new to the smartwatch market. However, their latest collection called Emporio Armani Connected, does mark the company’s first full touchscreen and entrance into the world of Android Wear.
We’ve spent the last few months with the black Emporio Armani Connected to understand what exactly it offers plus conduct a small comparison to the Moto 360. Continue on for our full verdict.
Emporio Armani Connected Specs:
Believe it or not, Armani actually shied away from releasing much of the detailed specs for their Connected smartwatch, but we did our best to round up as much info as possible.

  • Display: AMOLED
  • CPU: Snapdragon 2100
  • RAM: 512MB

Emporio Armani Connected Release Date and Price:
  • Release Date: September 14, 2017
  • Price: $395
Emporio Armani Connected Pros and Cons:
Pros:
  1. Superior design
  2. Display quality
  3. Rotating crown controls interface
  4. Water resistance
  5. Android Oreo
  6. Android and iOS compatible
Cons:
  1. No heate rate sensor
  2. No GPS sensor
  3. No NFC/Android Pay
  4. Price
Emporio Armani Android Wear Connected Smartwatch Review Summary:
There’s no doubt that the Emporio Armani Connected is one of the most stylish Android Wear smartwatches you will come across. While it shines bright in the design department, it doesn’t offer much when it comes to features beyond the Android Wear basics. The addition of NFC and Android Pay are small features that could have seriously improved the smarts of the Armani Connected. The lack of heart rate sensor, GPS and NFC provide a very bare-bones experience. However, with a popular fashion brand behind it and superior looks, we are sure that Armani’s Connected smartwatch will do well in the market. We continue to wear the watch even though the review is complete, which says a lot about it.

Huawei's company roadmap for 2018 has been leaked, revealing a timeline of new devices. The company recently surpassed Apple to become the world's second largest smartphone manufacturer, behind Samsung. Huawei's success comes despite lack of support from US carriers. Although, it appears jumpstarting their push for world domination will be the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite which are rumored to be launching in the US under AT&T, during Q1 2018. Huawei's roadmap definitely points to a busy year.
