Samsung Galaxy Note FE Selling Out Fast With A Possible Global Launch Soon

According to retailers in South Korea, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7s are flying off the shelves. Roughly 400,000 units were made available with the Black Onyx and Blue Coral color options being the most popular.
A Samsung official has stated that the current stock will not be replenished once it sells out in South Korea. Although according to an “insider,” Samsung could launch the refurbished device globally by the end of this month. The company didn’t specify which countries will be receiving them, but it’s likely that an international release will be limited to only a few markets.
Samsung has re-branded the device as the Galaxy Note FE or Fan Edition. It’s a chance for Note fans to own a piece of the mobile industry’s history. The decision to launch the Note FE has earned Samsung praise from environmentalist groups, however it’s more likely that the company is only interested in recouping some of the losses it suffered from the recall.
The Note FE is currently listed at $610, that’s $240 off the original. Would you buy the refurbished Galaxy Note 7? Let’s us know why or why not.
