The Nest Hello is the company’s first video doorbell and is intended to compete directly with the Ring Doorbell. The Nest Hello has several features that the Ring doesn’t offer. This includes 24/7 continuous video recording, HDR video, and face recognition. Plus it integrates extremely well with existing Nest hardware and Google Home devices.

Nest Hello Review Summary:
The Nest Hello has far exceeded expectations. It is a great standalone video doorbell, made even better if you already have Nest products in your home. Its basic features work well, but its advanced features, like facial recognition really stand out. If you don’t need all that fancy add-ons, skip the Nest Aware subscription or simply look elsewhere. But if you want the smartest video doorbell around, the Nest Hello is easily the best recommendation.
