According to sources, Microsoft's disc-less Xbox experiment is nearly ready for the prime time. The company is reportedly set to call the disc-less console the "Xbox One S All-Digital Edition," with preorders aiming for mid-April and general availability coming in early May 2019. Dropping the disc drive should make it the cheapest Xbox console yet and thus could be more embraced by consumers.
