You may have noticed things around the internet aren’t acting quite right. That’s because malware known as Mirai executed a DDoS attack on the web. This has some mainstream websites going out of whack. Netflix, Twitter and Spotify are among them. A Distributed Denial of Service attack is an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources. With a third attack reportedly under way, we may be looking at a few days until this issue is completely resolved.
