It will have a performance increase of 25 to 30 percent faster with a clock speed of 2.8GHz, versus last year’s 2.4GHz Snapdragon 835. The first smartphone to feature the new Snapdragon 845 will be Samsung's Galaxy S9. The S9 is expected to be announced February 25 with a rumored launch date on March 16.
