After months of leaks and rumors, Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ are now official.
Sure, while the overall design language hasn’t changed much from last year’s models, the two phones do feature incremental hardware upgrades. The Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8″ display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage, a 12-megapixel camera, 3,000mAh battery and Android Oreo.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9+ has a larger 6.2″ display, 6GB RAM, dual 12MP rear-facing cameras with OIS and a larger 3,500mAh battery.
These new Galaxy phones will be two of the most anticipated devices of 2018, but before we get ahead of ourselves, here is everything you need to know about them:
How Much Does the Galaxy S9/S9+ Cost?
The US unlocked Galaxy S9 costs $719.99 and the unlocked Galaxy S9+ costs $839.99. Compared to last year’s Galaxy S8 models, that’s a $5 decrease on the S9 and only a $15 increase in the S9+! Considering, you get upgrades across the board, including more RAM and a second rear camera in the S9+, that’s kinda surprising. Good job Samsung.
