Blu took a big hit last month when a security firm discovered a service on several of their phones was sending user's data to a server in China. Even Amazon has halted sales of some Blu phones following news of the spyware threat. Blu put an end to the data transmission, but the damage was done. The company is now looking to convince customers that it can be trusted once again. The CEO has pledged to not install third-party services it doesn't fully understand and updated their privacy policy.
