It's no secret that Nokia has an extensive portfolio of patents covering a wide variety of smartphone research and development. Today the company has filed patent infringement suits against Apple. Nokia claims that 32 patents are being violated by Apple, including technologies relating to the display, user interface, software, antenna, video coding and more. While Nokia may not be the dominant force it once was, those patents count for a lot. Apple has since countered stating Nokia took an overly aggressive stance with its licensing terms.
