After the Samsung Note 7 disaster, manufacturers are under immense scrutiny for quality control with hardware and software. LG has had its own share of issues, with customers experiencing a "bootloop" defect on a variety of phones. These days LG is hinting reliability, promising multiple checks on hardware and software to ensure longevity. Along with size and speeds, reliability is certainly a spec expected to be emphasized throughout 2017 and the G6 can provide an opportunity for LG to wipe the slate clean. LG will reveal how it will keep their G6 from failing on February 26th.
